Why do bad things often happen to good people?

Why are good people the ones who suffer the most?

We often see very good people who suffer a lot because bad things happen to them all the time, or maybe it’s something that happens and it’s happening to us!  But why bad things happen to good people? Why are good people the ones who suffer the most?
