Is it right to look for answers in religions different than ours?

As part of our spiritual search, it may sometimes happen that we do not find an exhaustive answer to our questions within our own religion, not because it is invalid, but simply because each religion has aimed to develop and deepen, throughout history, some aspects rather than others. But if we do not find an answer to our questions in our religion, is it then allowable to look for it in other religions?  Let’s see the answer…
